Biography Calvin was born in Cornwall where he dreamt of becoming a dustman. Unfortunately his mum wasn’t best pleased, mainly because of the smell associated with the job, so he became an actor instead. He still yearns to play a dustman on the telly box one day.Calvin joined the National Youth Theatre in 2001 and performed in various productions until he started his professional training at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Whilst at Mountview, Calvin spent 3 years pretending to be animals, making lots of funny noises and lying in semi-supine trying not to fall asleep. He managed it though and graduated in 2007 with a degree in acting (a very useful piece of paper!).Calvin has appeared in a number of productions since becoming a pro, including a half human, half mouse (animal studies at drama school was useful!), Keira Knightley’s servant and a zombie ghost in the movie Tormented. He is soon to film a lead role in Ratio Films psychological horror thriller 'Passengers' for release in 2012.

Click HERE to read all about it.15/11/2011Calvin starts shooting the new BBC/Ruby TV & Film production Dancing On The Edge in December. Written and directed by Stephen Poliakoff, Calvin will appear in 2 episodes to be aired in 2012.30/10/2011Calvin has recently completed shooting Passengers. The movie features a fine list of young British actors including Anna Popplewell, Jack Derges, Danny Szam, Tom Bacon and Ian Weichardt. The movie will released in March 2012.01/09/2011Calvin starts filming the lead role of Rog in a new horror/thriller movie called Passengers in October. Written and directed by John Hales, Passengers is the story of a group of intoxicated lads who seriously injure a nurse in a night time collision. They make matters far worse by trying to cover up their mistake by hastening the demise of their victim. This, they come to seriously regret as they realise the extent of their culpability and as an unseen killer proceeds to take brutal vengeance.Passengers is a hard-hitting psychological horror thriller set in London and the East Anglian countryside.
